Awards Ceremony 2002

This year`s Djmag Techno-Scan Awards were a resounding success, held for the
first time in the exotic location of Momo`s Moroccan restaurant in the heart of
London`s Picadilly.

The plush venue hosted a spectacular evening, laying on a magnificent spread
for the top names in the industry who`d arrived after a hard day`s graft at the
ever-busy DJ Day at PLASA.

The awards ceremony was hosted by high-flying production duo Mutiny, and if
they weren`t entertainment enough, then the belly dancer made up for it - her
independent control over each breast certainly caught the eye! And for those who
still hadn`t had enough, it all kicked off at the after-party downstairs. All of which
left the Djmag crew fresh and ready to man the stand at PLASA first thing the
morning after, of course.

Following the quality range of innovative and high spec kit released over the past
year, the Awards was a tightly fought contest again in 2002. Now we have a whole
year ahead to evaluate the fresh offerings at the cutting edge of new Djing and
production technology (read all about them in T-Scan in the coming months),
ready for an even bigger and better Awards contest next year.
